Province of Ontario, including the Court of Appeal.
His vast background and experience include serving
as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for an
Ottawa based publicly traded technology company.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Rohan had a successful
career in Teaching and Training and
Development/Management Consulting.
Deputy Judge
Rohan was appointed as Deputy Judge of the Superior
Court of Justice, Small Claims Court in 2007.

Over the years, Rohan has gained experience in many
areas of law including insurance law, personal
injury law, corporate and commercial law, business
law, and sports and entertainment law. His current
practice is focused on personal injury litigation,
commercial litigation and sports and entertainment
law.

An experienced
Mediator, Rohan was appointed to the roster of
court-connected mediators in the Ontario Superior
Court. He also mediates private disputes in many
areas including, but not limited to employment law
and workplace conflict, insurance and personal
injury matters, business/commercial disputes,
professional malpractice and family law.
Education
Rohan obtained a B.A. in Philosophy from Concordia
University in 1985, a M.Ed. (Educational Psychology)
from the University of Ottawa in 1988, and his LL.B.
also from the University of Ottawa in 1995.
Associations
Mr. Bansie is a member of the Law Society of Upper
Canada, the County of Carleton Law Association, the
Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers
Association and the Sports Lawyers Association.
Rohan has provided lectures and workshops on various
topics of law as well as advocacy, litigation, and
negotiations. He has also lectured law and articling
students as part of ongoing continuing legal
education commitments for lawyers in Ontario.
