 Background
Mr. Grodzki has experience appearing before the
Ontario Superior Court of Justice and before various
administrative tribunals. Prior to joining Plant
Quinn Thiele LLP, he worked at a defence insurance
law firm where he received experience in general
insurance litigation, commercial, construction and
employment law.
Areas of Practice
Mr. Grodzki’s practice is focused on personal injury
law, disability law, general and insurance
litigation, tort law, landlord and tenant law and
administrative law issues.
Education
Mr. Grodzki obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree
with Honours in Law, and minor in Sociology from
Carleton University in 2003. He received his Law (LL.B.)
from the University of Ottawa in 2006 and was called
to the Bar of Ontario in 2007. Mr. Grodzki also
worked for a leading managing general insurance
agent in Canada, prior to becoming a lawyer. He
joined Plant Quinn Thiele LLP as an associate in
2007.

Community
Mr. Grodzki is a member of the Law Society of Upper
Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario
Bar Association. His past community involvements
include team leader of the Government of Canada
Workplace Charitable Campaign and the Polish and
International Festivals held in Ottawa. Mikolaj has
traveled extensively throughout Europe.
Languages:
Mikolaj is fluently bilingual, providing legal
services to his clients in French, English, and
Polish. He can also converse in German.
