Mr. Todd K. Plant is a founding partner of the Ottawa law firm PLANT ♦ QUINN ♦ THIELE LLP, and he has developed a reputation for superior client service and excellence in the practice of law.
Mr. Plant is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice, and numerous Federal and Provincial Tribunals & Boards. His knowledge of the law and his Court experience provide a significant advantage to his clients.
Areas of Practice
Mr. Plant recovers financial compensation for his clients for their serious injuries arising from motor vehicle accidents, slip & falls, dog bites, defective products, disability claims and all kinds of injury & insurance claims.
Mr. Plant's practice also includes diligently representing his clients regarding their family law cases, contract disputes, disability pension appeals and civil litigation matters.

Education
Mr. Plant received his Bachelor of Arts Degree, which was granted With Distinction, in Political Science and History from Concordia University in 1992. He was awarded his Bachelor of Laws Degree from Queen’s University in 1995, where he was the recipient of numerous awards for excellence. Mr. Plant was called to the Bar of Ontario in February 1997. In 2008, Mr. Plant was specially trained and accredited in the field of Collaborative Family Law.
Associations
Mr. Plant is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Advocates' Society, the County of Carleton Law Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada. He lectures on various topics of the law at Algonquin College and for Continuing Legal Education seminars. Mr. Plant also mentors junior lawyers in Ottawa, Ontario.
